An individual practicum which takes place in a department, an agency, a company, a NGO, a public health organization or an associated research laboratory (in France or abroad), under the supervision of an advisor who is a public health professional. About 50 % of work placements at most are held in research laboratories, for students determined to follow a research career. Lasting 4 months minimum up to six months, the practicum leads to the writing of a thesis or a scientific article, to be defended in front of a jury in a “culminating experience”.
