We are thrilled to welcome our new cohort of international students to the Master of Public Health (M1) program (2024-2025), marking the first time this prestigious program is hosted on our Rennes campus. This exciting milestone brings together a diverse group of 28 new students from around the globe, all united by their passion for public health and their commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
According to Pr. Nolwenn Le Meur, Responsible for the MPH program, year 1, “As you embark on this academic journey, you will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts in the field, participate in cutting-edge research, and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Rennes. Our campus is not just a place of learning, but a community where you will forge lifelong friendships and professional connections”.
During the orientation week, that took place from 2nd to 4th September, we were honored to host a keynote lecture titled “The Unfinished Business of Public Health” by Professor Jim Thomas from the Department of Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina. Additionally, students participated in the “Fresque de la Diversité” and attend a crucial awareness and training session on combating gender-based and sexual violence (VSS), two essential themes at the heart of EHESP’s educational and institutional mission. These events were shared with the French-speaking students of EHESP, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
